When you confirm an itinerary with us, your funds are directly allocated towards locking in non-refundable park conservation permits, luxury safari lodge rooms, and bush flight seats.

We never charge hidden agency surcharges, currency conversion penalties, or ambiguous resort fees. Every line item on your proforma invoice is explicitly outlined so you know exactly what is included in your safari package.

Smashing Africa Tours will never ask you to wire funds to personal individual accounts, Western Union, MoneyGram, or third-party bank accounts outside the United Republic of Tanzania. Always telephone or WhatsApp our verified office number if in doubt before sending a wire transfer.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that unforeseen events happen. If you need to postpone or cancel your safari, notify us in writing as soon as possible. Our standard policy:

60+ Days Prior to ArrivalFull refund minus bank wire transfer processing fees and any non-refundable national park permits already issued by TANAPA.

59 to 31 Days Prior75% refund of total safari amount, or 100% credit toward rescheduling within 12 months.

30 to 15 Days Prior50% refund of total package cost due to strict lodge peak season release deadlines.

Under 14 Days or No-Show100% cancellation charge applies as lodges and safari transport are fully locked in.

*We strongly advise all travelers to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering emergency trip cancellation, baggage loss, and medical repatriation before traveling to Africa.
